Robust Growth in Property Sales by 32% in March 2023

During the first quarter of 2023, the growth trend continued with a solid 19% rise, totaling 3,574 sales compared to 3,009 in the corresponding period of 2022. These figures indicate a positive trajectory for the real estate sector, attracting both local and international investors seeking opportunities in Cyprus.

Leading the charge is the vibrant city of Limassol, which remains at the forefront of the Cypriot property market. In March 2023 alone, Limassol experienced a remarkable increase of 39%, recording 507 sales compared to 366 in March 2022. The city’s allure lies in its dynamic urban environment, modern infrastructure, and a wide range of residential and commercial properties that cater to diverse buyer preferences.

Larnaca, another prominent region in Cyprus, property sales recorded a 35% increase, reaching 256 in March this year from 190 last March. Paphos also witnessed a substantial surge in property sales. March 2023 saw a notable 43% increase, with 314 transactions compared to 220 in the same month of the previous year.

The upward trajectory in property sales reflects the resilience and stability of the Cyprus real estate market. The favorable investment climate and strategic location contribute to different promising opportunities.
